Student Copy/Print Services

KSU is committed to environmental sustainability, and supports “going paperless” as much as possible. However, there is still a need for paper printing for assignments, copying research, or copying a friend’s class notes, etc.

Copy/Print Services provides students with convenient and affordable copying and printing resources all across campus. There are currently 300+ Ricoh Multi-Function Printers (MFP) on both the Kennesaw and Marietta Campuses that provide color and black/white copying and printing for students. Many of the printers offer multiple paper size options (varies by location).

Using an MFP requires a valid campus ID card or guest card. Scan and fax services, and a full range of other services, are available in The UPS Store at the James V. Carmichael Student Center.

In an effort to provide the most convenient service possible, Copy/Print Services also offers students a wireless, web-based printing option from anywhere on campus called KSUPrint.

Students may print documents on any student printer located in the various students labs and in some common areas.

How to print:

  1. When you are logged in with your NetID and print from any application, your job will be sent to the print queue.
  2. When you go to a printer of your choice, simply tap your card on the reader, select the job you want to print, verify the cost, and select print.

Costs for copying and printing:

  • One sided (single) copy or printed page:
    • Black/White: 10¢ per page
    • Color: 50¢ per page
  • Two-sided (or duplex) copy/print:
    • Black/White: 20¢ per two-sided/duplex page
    • Color: $1 per two-sided/duplex page

Note: If you do not have sufficient funds to pay for what you want to print, you can go to a KCash terminal or visit the KCash portal to add funds to your account.

Assistance is available in the libraries and student labs. However, if you are in another location and have trouble with a copier/printer, call 470-578-6999 to talk to the help desk.
