About Copy/Print Services
KSU’s Copy/Print Services offers multiple options for copying and printing on campus from wireless printing to a full-service print shop.
- State-of-the-art Ricoh multi-function printers (combo black/white and color copiers/printers) are located throughout campus in nearly every building.
- Students, faculty and staff use their Talon Cards to copy and print on campus.
Copy/Print Services department has contracted with Ricoh to provide all multi-function printers, including all consumables (staples, toner, etc.) except paper, on a cost per impression basis. By KSU only having to pay for paper, this arrangement helps keep the cost of education as low as possible as expenses are based solely on consumption.
In addition to the multi-function printers, we also offer students, faculty and staff with KSUPrint, a web-based, wireless printing option to send print jobs to any printer of your choice from any computer on campus with an Internet connection. A valid KSU Net ID is required.
Faculty and Staff
KSU’s Copy/Print Services division supports the business needs of faculty and staff by providing a variety of solutions for copying, printing, scanning and faxing.
Multi-Function Printers (MFP) that offer full copying and printing capabilities are available campus-wide. There are currently 300+ MFPs located across both campuses in every academic and service building with the exception of the residence halls.
Accessibility to all printing and copying services require a Talon Card, which is simply tapped on the card reader at each MFP to gain access to print jobs or make copies. The department and department accounts are already linked to each individual’s Talon Card and is automatically recalled when the Talon Card is tapped on the reader, therefore there is no need to enter a department code. Costs are automatically tracked through the database.
For personal printing and copying needs, similar to the student process, faculty and staff may deposit money into their KCash account on their Talon Card to use to make personal copies and prints.
KSU is committed to environmental sustainability, and supports “going paperless” as much as possible. However, there is still a need for paper printing for assignments, copying research, or copying a friend’s class notes, etc.
Copy/Print Services provides students with convenient and affordable copying and printing resources all across campus. There are currently 300+ Ricoh Multi-Function Printers (MFP) on both the Kennesaw and Marietta Campuses that provide color and black/white copying and printing for students. Many of the printers offer multiple paper size options (varies by location).
In an effort to provide the most convenient service possible, Copy/Print Services also offers students a wireless, web-based printing option from anywhere on campus called KSUPrint.
